Vulnerability, Trust and Courage

I’m just diving in to Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead . Yesterday my 5 year old asked me to read to him from the book I’m reading, he does this regularly and it’s one of my favourite things. Sometimes he listens intensely, sometimes he plays with his lego guys, but as I’m reading about vulnerability, trust and courage out loud to my 5 year old, I had a moment. A moment of what’s possible. If words like these are being squirreled away in his brain now as ways to show up in the world, what’s possible for him, his generation? I took a moment to take a photo so I remember this moment, and that he’s listening.
